Proper motivation process requires communication between the employees and the employers.  In organizations where all decisions are done by the management team, there is usually noticeable communication break-down.  It is important to work as a team in building a proper organization by involving all the employees in all the decisions taking place.  In the era of advanced technology, this can be done through emails, sms, phone calls or even pinning such actions on the notice boards.  For effective team work, each involved individual should be involved at the onset.

It is also important to appreciate the working team, and if possible encourage them even when all seems impossible.  Appreciate the efforts, they put each day in making the whole program work.  Do not be-little some employees in-front of others.  This has very negative effects and will make them not speak out next time, even when they have solution to some of the toughest issues.  Treat all employees equally.  Give them a reason to want to work with you.

As an employer, it is imperative and very important to set a standard, do not expect your employees to more than you can do.  Be an example and let them have a reason to follow your foot-steps.  Rewards and awards are necessary when employees excel in their different departments.  This is a clear sign that they are appreciated and will give them motivation to put more effort next time.   This can only be done effectively by setting a goal.  And once the goal has been met, make sure to keep your part of the bargain.

Providing in-house training from time to time with the changing times has a very positive effect on employees.  Do not be stuck with the same rules and regulations that have no meaning and value to the employees.  Find out from the market what the standards are requirements are from time to time.  Let the employees keep in tune with the changing times.  They will have a clear reason to do their best and make you proud in the end.   Do not restrict your employees, allow them to do their best without going against the required set-out rules and regulations.
